A few days ago I went to interview the ladies of the Maa:yu Creative Creation team in readiness for writing an article about their enterprise, its origins, and how they see themselves and their company in the context of Nepali society and norms. It proved to be an unexpectedly lively and interesting time, during which we discussed not only their products but also issues of women’s empowerment. It’s a great step forward for me, as someone who is more than a little IT-challenged, to finally have my own website. Creating it, indeed finding the right team to create it, was not easy but at last it is up and running.
